Natural Oatmeal & Honey Soap

This gentle, moisturizing soap is great for everyone especially those who suffer from dry skin or eczema. Oatmeal is known to help soothe irritated skin and honey acts as a humectant to keep skin hydrated.

This soap is unscented.

 

 

OATMEAL

Oatmeal contains wonderful nourishing and soothing properties helping to keep skin hydrated and to reduce inflammation. It gently cleanses and exfoliates while significantly improving dry, rough and inflamed skin.

 

HONEY

Honey is honey that has not been heated or pasteurized, therefore all the natural vitamins, enzymes, powerful antioxidants, and other nutrients are preserved. Honey acts as a humectant and leaves the skin soothed and hydrated. It can be applied topically to heal wounds, rashes, and minor burns as it contains antibiotic and anti-bacterial qualities.

 

 

OLIVE OIL

Olive oil is a rich and moderately heavy oil that is derived from the first pressing of ripe olives.  It is recognized for it's unusually high Oleic acid ( a monosaturated omega-9 fatty acid) content. Olive oil easily penetrates the skin leaving it moisturized and soft.

 

 

COCONUT OIL

Derived from the pulp of the coconut fruit, coconut oil is a light, nourishing oil. That leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and soft. It is a highly emollient oil and an excellent oil for all-over use, from your hair all the way down to your toes.  Coconut oil is solid at temperatures below 76F but becomes a clear liquid at warmer temperatures.

 

 

SHEA BUTTER

Shea butter, extracted from the Shea Nut, is a superior moisturizing ingredient.  Rich in vitamins and fatty acids that penetrate deep into the skin helping to improve dry and damaged skin.

 

PALM OIL

Palm oil is derived from the fruit pulp of the oil palm tree.  It is high in saturated fat and is semi-solid at room temperature.

 

 

CANOLA OIL

 

Canola oil is rich in minerals, vitamins and is high in GLA (gamma-linolenic acid).  It is easily absorbed by the skin and is very moisturizing.  It is derived from the rape plant.

 

 

All of my soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method and are cured for at least 4 weeks.  I always use high-quality oils, butter, and essentials oils in my products.

 

The palm oil I use in my soap is sourced from a sustainable supplier.

 

As the soap has been hand cut the sizes may vary slightly and each soap is approximately 4.5 oz in weight.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Handmade soap will last longer if kept dry between uses.
